Responsibilities
\nData Validation & Data Integration
\nData Quality Assurance, Governance & Security
\nData Analysis, Visualization & Trend Analysis
\nTransaction Processing for MTNC
\nPerform Period End Activities (covering all period end activities across all accounts and business units) IFRS Accounting and Reporting (Primary Ledger)
\nPerform Period End Activities (covering all period end activities across all accounts and business units) OHADA Accounting and Reporting (Secondary Ledger) for MTNCRisk & Compliance: Manage Statutory and External Audits and Internal Audits for Both IFRS and OHADATechnical Accounting support for Both IFRS and OHADA

\nQualifications
\nEducation:<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 years university degree in Commerce\/Finance or relevant field
\nPost graduate degree in Finance \/ Business Management\/CPA\/Chartered Accountant and \/ or similar professional accreditation<\/p>\n
Fluent in English and language of country preferable
\nCertifications (in either one or more of the following):<\/p>\n
IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA)
\nChartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
\nExperience:
\n5 years of experience in financial reporting and financial period close with experience in supervising\/managing others;
\nMinimum 5 years relevant managerial experience in Finance
\nExperience working in a medium to large organization. Proven Experience in the service management of business operations, change \/ transformation (Corporate Performance Management) advantageous
\nDeep knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices (Corporate Performance Management)
\nExperience working in a global\/multinational enterprise (understanding emerging markets advantageous).
\nStrong understanding and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
\nAdvanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and MS Office (Word, Excel-advanced, and Outlook)
\nFMCG\/ Telecommunications\/ Retail Banking\/ service industry context
\nPan Africa multi-cultural experience will be preferable
\nWorked across diverse cultures and geographies
\nFunctional Knowledge: <\/p>\n
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
\nKnowledge of Local Accounting Standards (OHADA)
\nKnowledge of local Tax and finance laws
\nKnowledge of Payroll
\nWorking knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred) Telecommunications industry experience preferred
\nExperience in a similar leadership role with a large, global, multi-site organization
\nExperience in the design \/ development of overall strategies and programs with a keen disciplined focus on execution
