About IFP-EH
\nThe Institute for Professional Training in Humanitarian Studies (IFP-EH) is a center specializing in training, guidance, and support for humanitarian, community-based, and civil society actors. IFP-EH is committed to strengthening local organizations, professionalizing the nonprofit sector, and enhancing the quality and impact of responses in crisis or development contexts. In partnership with H2H Network, IHSA, and CPD, we are pleased to inform you that the Capacity Building Program for Local NGOs will officially start in August and will run until the end of October.<\/p>\n
Selected organizations will be contacted in due time with the detailed schedule and participation guidelines.

Program Objective
\nThis program aims to strengthen the strategic, technical, and operational capacities of local NGOs in order to:
\n\u2022 Structure their internal operations
\n\u2022 Improve their access to funding
\n\u2022 Develop relevant and sustainable projects
\n\u2022 Enhance their legitimacy and leadership at local and international levels
\nTargeted Organizations
\nWe are looking for:
\n\u2022 Legally registered local NGOs or associations
\n\u2022 Active in fields such as humanitarian action, social services, health, gender, education, environment, rural development,digital.
\n\u2022 Have proven experience in humanitarian or social project implementation.
\n– Be active in at least one of the following regions: Littoral, West, South-West, North-West.
\n\u2022 Motivated to learn, structure their operations, and access funding
\n\u2022 Available for active participation over the 3-month program period
\nImportant \u2013 Extension of the Call for Expressions of Interest<\/p>\n
In addition to our Capacity Building Program for Local NGOs, we are pleased to inform you that we are also looking for organizations based in the Littoral, West, South-West, and North-West regions of Cameroon.<\/p>\n
The goal is to identify and build a pool of civil society actors (associations, national NGOs, social enterprises, etc.) operating in these regions for potential future collaboration. This includes opportunities for joint project design, networking, and institutional, organizational, and technical capacity strengthening.<\/p>\n

\n1. Personalized Organizational Diagnosis
\n\u2022 Analysis of strengths\/weaknesses (governance, resources, operations)
\n\u2022 Identification of key needs in structure and funding
\n2. Practical and Strategic Trainings
\n\u2022 Project design for humanitarian\/social initiatives
\n\u2022 Proposal writing and responding to calls for proposals
\n\u2022 Strategic planning and nonprofit governance
\n\u2022 Monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and accountability
\n\u2022 Resource mobilization and partnership strategy
\n3. Tailored Coaching and Mentorship
\n\u2022 Personalized coaching by expert mentors
\n\u2022 Support with internal documentation and legal compliance
\n\u2022 Assistance in drafting fundable pilot projects
\n4. Networking and Visibility
\n\u2022 Peer learning and exchange circles
\n\u2022 Promotion through IFP-EH networks and partners
\n\u2022 Recommendations to relevant funding opportunities
