Mission\/ Core purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
The Graduate Finance will support the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with policies, and efficient financial management. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a dynamic corporate environment.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities \/ outputs of the position (KPA’s)<\/p>\n
The Graduate Finance will be accountable to the following objectives:<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting & Analysis:<\/p>\n
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
\n Support budget preparation and variance analysis;
\n Help reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.<\/p>\n
Accounts Payable & Receivable:<\/p>\n
Process invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions;
\n Follow up on receivables and payables to ensure timely settlements.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Auditing:<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to company policies and local financial regulations;
\n Assist in internal and external audit preparations.<\/p>\n
Administrative Support:<\/p>\n
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records;
\n Support procurement and inventory management processes.<\/p>\n
Other Duties:<\/p>\n
Participate in finance-related projects and process improvements;
\n Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team as required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Job Requirements: (Education, Experience and Competencies)<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 Year Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
Newly qualified Finance Graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships included);
\n Experience in Telecom industry is an advantage.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software;
\n Basic understanding of financial principles and reporting standards.<\/p>\n
Soft Skills:<\/p>\n
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
\n Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
\n Good communication and teamwork abilities;
\n Language: Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required; working knowledge of English is an advantage.<\/p>\n
