SAASA B2E<\/strong>, on behalf of one of its clients operating in the premium food and entertainment sector in Douala<\/strong>, is recruiting a passionate, creative, and professional Bartender <\/strong>to join a dynamic team in a modern, elegant, and welcoming environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Under the supervision of management, the Bartender will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Preparing and serving a wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails<\/strong>, mocktails, coffee, and other beverages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Following standard recipes<\/strong> while also proposing original creations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensuring each drink is served with aesthetic and professional presentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene<\/strong> of the bar area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assisting in stock management<\/strong>, daily restocking, and minimizing waste.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere<\/strong>, while delivering an exceptional customer experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Profile Sought<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Education & Experience<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-end establishment<\/strong> (bar, lounge, restaurant, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Training in hospitality, bartending<\/strong>, or mixology<\/strong> is a strong asset.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Technical Skills<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Excellent knowledge of international cocktails (Mojito, Margarita, Martini, Daiquiri, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Mastery of bartending techniques: shaking<\/strong>, muddling<\/strong>, stirring<\/strong>, layering<\/strong>, flaming<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Solid understanding of spirits, liqueurs, syrups, bitters<\/strong>, and other bar ingredients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Ability to balance flavors<\/strong> (sour, sweet, bitter, strong) and adapt recipes to customers’ preferences.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Strong skills in drink decoration and presentation<\/strong> (garnishes, glassware, ice, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Personal Qualities<\/h4>\n

        • \n

          Excellent grooming and customer service skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Attention to detail, fast execution, and precision.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Good communication skills (French required; English is a plus).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Team spirit<\/strong>, politeness, punctuality, and stress resistance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Willingness to work flexible hours<\/strong>, including evening\/night shifts<\/strong> (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
