YOUR ROLE<\/p>\n
The Chief Accountant is responsible for all accounting activities, which may involve several sites.
\nIn addition to day-to-day management, the Chief Accountant is responsible for the proper management of accountant
\nand tax for all sites. He or she must supervise the activities of the General Accounting Department of
\nthe company, guaranteeing the regularity and reliability of the accounts.<\/p>\n
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?<\/p>\n
Monitor transactions in the general ledger while complying with the Group’s rules, processes and
\nworking methods in order to produce accurate and reliable accounting information for Group and local reporting.
\nEnsuring that accounts are monitored and posted to on a daily basis. <\/p>\n
Preparing and submitting transfers to HO for approval.
\nReconciling and analysing account balances with partners (third parties and intercos).
\nProduces monthly tax returns.
\nParticipating in the closing of the monthly accounts in accordance with the schedule.
\nChecking, Analysing the company’s monthly accounting data.
\nCommenting on the monthly balance sheet and income statements; preparing tax returns.
\nPreparing and planning the audit of the accounts and ensuring external relations with
\nchartered accountants, statutory auditors; updating provisions and ensuring reporting.
\nAssisting the collections department in the dunning process.
\n Ensuring optimum management of cash registers.
\nEnsuring that bank files are properly integrated and carrying out first-level checks on bank reconciliation statements before they are validated by line management;
\nsupervising and managing the general accounting pool and administrative invoicing.
\nParticipating in the preparation of budgets for the Balance Sheet and P&L sections.
\nCarrying out any other tasks assigned by line management.
\nCarry out any other tasks assigned by management.
\nknowledge of the legal and regulatory framework.
\nKnowledge of IFRS standards.
\nKnowledge of accounting and financial risk prevention.
\nKnowledge of general accounting.
\n Knowledge of accounting processes.
\nSoftware and IT tools
\nGood knowledge of English
\nKnowledge of general and cost accounting\/management and auditing;
\nKnowledge of tax and budget management;
\nProficiency in SAGE, ERP and office software.<\/p>\n
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?<\/p>\n
BAC+3\/4\/5 in accounting or any other equivalent qualification
\nAt least 05 years’ experience in a similar position.
\nGood oral communication skills in French and English<\/p>\n
