This position will manage a Dulux Colour Centre, servicing wholesale and retail customers. This includes managing all aspects of store operations, including customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reports and store safety.
\nThis role will recruit and train store employees, establish work schedules and assignments, and provide guidance to help employees grow professionally. This position will also make external sales calls.
\nPRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
\n\u2022 Responsible for the overall operation of the DCC and Colourshops including but not limited to customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reports and store safet;
\n\u2022 Develop sales and customer service strategies for the business and ensures that sales and customer service plans are implemented;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop and communicate strategic sales plans to grow market share and sales revenue of the colour centres and shops;
\n\u2022 Liaise with the CAP marketing department for implementation of the respective DCC Local Area Marketing\/Sales plan and strategies;
\n\u2022 Ensure the colour centre employees operate in line with the Sales Policy;
\n\u2022 Safeguard the equity of CAP brands in the Company’s portfolio;
\n\u2022 Ownership for the demand planning process and metrics for the centre aimed at ensuring centre is stocked to meet customer needs;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Seeks leads for new business through contacts at existing accounts;
\n\u2022 Agree and ensure that sales, volume and profit targets are met;
\n– takes care of the efficient and optimum distribution of products to customers;
\n– handles compliance to Company sales policies by the sales force;
\n\u2022 Identify and assist in implementation of training programmes for the sales force and customers;
\n\u2022 Collate and disseminate customer feedbacks to the head office promptly;
\nLiaise with the Agent to develop Annual Business Plan for the business;
\n\u2022 Submit weekly and monthly sales report on DCC operations.
\n\u2022 Accountable for all company assets including vehicles, equipment’s etc. allocated to the colour centre and
\nPROFIL
\n\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or relevant field with at least 6 years’ experience in sales and marketing management;
\n\u2022 Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
\n\u2022 Knowledge of retail management best practices
\n\u2022 Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
\n\u2022 Excellent organizing and leadership skills
\nCommercial awareness
\nAnalytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
