Job Advert
As part of the expansion of its activities in satisfying all its customers, Africa Eye
Foundation, an international NGO is recruiting 02 Pharmacy Auxiliaries for its hospital
Magrabi ICO Cameroon Eye Institute (MICEI) located in Obak on the Okola road.
Main Responsibilities<\/strong>
Provide pharmacy services as assigned such as the following;
Count,package,label unit doses for inspection by pharmacist.
Fill routine order for non-prescription pharmaceuticals.
Replenish medicine supply carts for nursing units.
Deliver orders to nursing units.
Pick up pharmacy charge sheets from various departments.
Keep records on all drugs delivered to pharmacy.
Store incoming merchandisein proper locations as instructed.
Inform supervisor of stock needs, stock shortages and stock expiration
Type and file reports, complete forms as directed, domiscellaneous typing and filing.
Maintain established departmentpolicies, procedures, objectives, and quality
assuranceprogram, safety, environmental and infection control.
Clean equipment used in the performance of duties. Assist in the care and
maintenanceof departmentequipmentand supplies.
Enhance professional growth and developmentthrough participation in educational
program.
Perform other duties and responsibilitiesas assigned.
Candidatesprofile
High school graduate or equivalent education.
Completion of pharmacy Auxiliary program.
Have a proper understanding of patient’s prescriptions with good dispensing
practices
At least 2years work experience as a Pharmacy Auxiliary
Smart with good knowledge in Pharmacy dispensing
Bilingual with strong communicationand patient management skills
