The Association Camerounaise pour le Marketing Social (ACMS) is looking for candidates in the position of Drivers (M\/F) based in Ngaound\u00e9r\u00e9, Garoua and Yaound\u00e9.
What do we recruiting ?<\/strong>
The Program Driver will provide transportation services for project staff, equipment, and materials. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and personnel, maintaining the vehicle, and supporting logistical operationsUnder the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the project’s technical managers and government partners to oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation of project activities. They report to Logistic Officer.
Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide reliable transportation for project staff, equipment, and materials.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods and personnel.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the vehicle.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with logistical operations and transport coordination.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure compliance with project policies and procedures.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transportation.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Address and resolve any issues related to transportation or vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications and skills required:<\/strong>
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ordinary level certificate or higher
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, preferably in a project or NGO setting.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations and defensive driving\u00a0\u00a0 Good knowledge of motor mechanic engineering for both diesel and gasoline motors.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fluency in English and French.
Personal Attributes:
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong organizational and time-management skills.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reliable and responsible.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
