\nReports to: Senior Management

Who We Are
\nGrassland Cameroon leverages a combination of asset-based loans, critical training & post-harvest
\nservices to enable smallholder farmers to increase their productivity & improve their livelihoods. We
\noffer our farmers two services: (i) financial services in the form of asset-based credit &, (ii) extension
\nservices. Each farmer in our program receives fertilizer, seeds & access to machinery on credit relative
\nto their farm holding size. At harvest, farmers reimburse the value of credit received in kind, and we
\nbuy up the remainder of their harvest.<\/p>\n
At Grassland Cameroon we believe in African farmers. We know that with the right resources, they can
\nimprove their livelihoods and escape poverty. We also believe that our solutions can be profit making
\nand sustainable, making certain that our farmers have uninterrupted assistance over several years.
\nOur goal is to enable farmers to increase their productivity, access markets and ensure that their
\nproduction is properly managed after harvest.<\/p>\n
About the Role
\nWe are looking for an experienced, hard-working warehouse and logistics professional, who will
\nmaintain our inventory stock, prepare orders for client delivery & monitor grain while in storage. This
\nrole will work closely with the production manager, recruit and manage seasonal workers. The ideal
\ncandidate is an extremely organized individual who enjoys working independently while maintaining
\nconsistent communication with the whole team. This is a field position. The successful candidate
\nwould have at least two years of warehouse and\/or logistics experience, preferably at a cooperative,
\nor another agribusiness, and is keen to work in a non scripted, start-up environment.<\/p>\n
Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
Inventory Control:
\n\u25cf Ensure goods received follow defined process & quality control before signing reception note
\n\u25cf Maintain safe & clean workspace (incl. warehouse) and conduct frequent fumigation &
\nphytosanitary treatment as defined by company policy
\n\u25cf Maintain inventory levels by checking stock levels recorded in shared drive against physical
\nstock counts
\n\u25cf Track & communicate weekly\/monthly stock levels with procurement & sales team
\n\u25cf Spot check grain for weevil, mold or any other impurities
\n\u25cf Prepare orders for client delivery
\n\u25cf Recruit & monitor season warehouse workers
\nQualifications
\n\u25cf At least 6 months to one year of relevant professional work experience (preferably in a
\ncooperative, agribusiness or brewery)
\n\u25cf Must be fluent in English & French (written & oral)<\/p>\n
