and recreation within the neighbourhood of Nkoa-bang, Yaounde-Cameroon. She seeks the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
services of a skilled accountant to handle her financial affaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The key responsibilities of the accountant involve:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Bookkeeping Accounting: <\/strong>Record and post all financial transactions in accordance with<\/p>\n\n\n\n principles on a daily bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Financial Reporting<\/strong>: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss<\/p>\n\n\n\n statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial<\/p>\n\n\n\n information to management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. End of month adjustments: <\/strong>Carry out end of month adjustments including; amortization,<\/p>\n\n\n\n bank reconciliation, prepayments, accruals and inventory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Budgeting and Forecasting<\/strong>: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration<\/p>\n\n\n\n with management to guide financial planning and decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Cost and Revenue Management<\/strong>: Monitor and analyze revenue streams from room sales,<\/p>\n\n\n\n food and beverage operations, hall rentals and other sources, identifying trends and<\/p>\n\n\n\n opportunities for revenue enhancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Third party account management (accounts payable and receivable)<\/strong>: Manage accounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor<\/p>\n\n\n\n management. Ensure timely invoicing, and monitor accounts for follow up on overdue<\/p>\n\n\n\n payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. Payroll and Tax Administration<\/strong>: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely<\/p>\n\n\n\n payment of wages and salaries to employees. Ensure timely declaration and payment of fiscal<\/p>\n\n\n\n and social obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. Internal Controls<\/strong>: Establish and maintain internal control on Viana\u2019s Home operational<\/p>\n\n\n\n processes, fixed assets and material accounts to identify and hedge risks related to fraud,<\/p>\n\n\n\n errors, and non-compliance with the GAAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9. Audit Support<\/strong>: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and ensure<\/p>\n\n\n\n compliance with audit requirements. Provide documentation and explanations as needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n during audit processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasury Management<\/strong>: Manage cash flow to ensure a smooth operation on a going<\/p>\n\n\n\n concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Financial Planning and Analysis<\/strong>: Provide financial insights and analysis to support<\/p>\n\n\n\n strategic planning, investment decisions, and business development initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Overall, the accountant plays a critical role in managing the financial health and performance of<\/p>\n\n\n\n Viana\u2019s Home and is therefore expected to show proof of; good leadership and communication<\/p>\n\n\n\n skills, moral rectitude, attention to details and result oriented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Job specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This position requires:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Constant collaboration with third parties, staff and management<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Very limited or no travel out of town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c 6 working days in a week (Monday through Sunday with 1 week day off)<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Working longer hours and weekends to meet deadline<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Working under pressure<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Advanced knowledge in M.S office suit and accounting softwares applicable<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Salary is competitive and based on qualification and experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Position is based at Nkoa-bang, Yaounde, Cameroon<\/p>\n\n\n\n \uf06c Reporting to the CEO or his\/her designee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Employee Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.
