<\/strong>– Provide expert legal counsel and advice to internal stakeholders on various legal matters, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and business transactions.
– Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence, to ensure compliance and protect the firm\u2019s interests.
– Handle dispute resolution, including mediating and negotiating settlements with clients, partners, and third parties in a timely and efficient manner.
– Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with such laws and regulations and keep the company informed of any legal developments that may impact business operations.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal insights on complex projects and initiatives.
– Effectively manage stressful situations and navigate complex high-pressure scenarios with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
– Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to mediate and resolve conflicts, both internally and externally.
– Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to draft clear and concise legal documents and correspondences.
– Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by assisting the firm business needs with various tasks beyond core legal responsibilities.
– Communicate fluently in both English and French, both spoken and written, to cater to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
– Actively participate in the activities of related companies, contributing to legal expertise to support their objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law from an accredited institution; Master in Law preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a professional services firm or relevant industry.
– Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and effectively manage stressful scenarios, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
– Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in legal drafting and documentation.
– Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and functions.
– Full fluency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate fluently in both languages.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Flexibility and willingness to work outside of business hours and to assist with tasks outside of core legal responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
