A.P Maersk Cameroon is looking for a motivated and driven Sales Trainee.
The purpose of this role is to be the essence of customer centricity by taking excellent and pro-active care of them once they are onboard and growing them by always knowing their next need. The aim is to win new customers, optimize retention and grow revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Responsibilities:<\/strong>
Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure Sales reps are supported using the standard channels and build long-term trusting relationships with the customers to ensure they realize full value from their investment with Maersk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continually assess customer progress toward stated goals and drive expected results in the areas of adoption, usage, business value and overall relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a customer advocate, ensure customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manage the Allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure they deliver on the commitment. Manage the tender handling process and co-ordinate with TCM to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer is submitted to the customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-ordinate the L&S Quoting & contracting process with the relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timely contract renewals & contract management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro-actively support the customer to build trust and operational confidence through phone, chat and email while encouraging\/pushing self\/service functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Requirements:<\/strong>
Freshly graduated with a Degree in sales or logistics and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous internships in sales is an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good knowledge of MS package (Excel…) is a must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French fluency and conversational English is a MUST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background in digital marketing and a good Power BI knowledge is an Advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer centricity approach to proactively identify customer needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stakeholder management skills and High-level product understanding including how it solves different customer pains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Influencing skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
