{"id":42697,"date":"2023-07-18T16:45:38","date_gmt":"2023-07-18T14:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/?post_type=emplois&#038;p=42697"},"modified":"2023-07-18T16:45:39","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T14:45:39","slug":"internal-controls-over-financial-reporting-icfr-officer","status":"publish","type":"emplois","link":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/recrutements-emplois-stages\/2023\/internal-controls-over-financial-reporting-icfr-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting ICFR Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ensuring compliance with the ICFR including certification by Directors and External Auditors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Custodian of the ICFR controls documentation for the location<\/li><li>Develop a local plan for continuous monitoring and evaluation of ICFR<\/li><li>ICFR awareness activities including training local staff<\/li><li>Liaising with all departments to ensure that all periodic controls are complied with<\/li><li>Coordinating the testing of controls by Directors for the purpose of certification in the Financial reports<\/li><li>Maintain a dashboard for all ICFR controls that fail internal testing for Directors certification and follow up with responsible departments to ensure swift remediation<\/li><li>Coordinating the testing of controls by external auditors for the purpose of certification in the Financial reports<\/li><li>Maintain a dashboard for all controls that fail internal testing for External Auditors certification and follow up with responsible departments to ensure swift remediation<\/li><li>Come up with compensating controls for controls that fail testing and are not remediated by the end of the reporting period.<\/li><li>Support departments in performing key ICFR controls where there are staff shortages or knowledge gaps<\/li><li>Ensure that evidence for controls performed is properly filed\/archived and readily available for testing by Directors and external auditors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or its equivalent in Accounting or other related discipline.<\/li><li>At least 5 years experience in Internal Controls\/Internal Audit\/External Audit<\/li><li>Professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Good understanding of Financial Controls.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.<\/li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li><li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li><li>High ethical standards and integrity.<\/li><li>Working knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP.<\/li><li>Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Private Health Insurance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paid Time off<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training and Development<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description Job Summary Ensuring compliance with the ICFR including certification by Directors and External Auditors.
