Finance Manager to join our team & play a crucial role with our valued stakeholders.
Job Summary:<\/strong>
As Finance Manager at our internet startup, you will play a critical role in managing & optimizing our financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting & reporting, as well as analyzing financial data to provide strategic recommendations. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our startup by ensuring sound financial decision-making & efficient resource allocation.
Responsibilities:<\/strong>
Financial Planning & Budgeting:<\/strong>
Develop & implement financial planning & budgeting processes. Assess feasibility of new initiatives & projects.
Monitor & analyze budget variances, providing recommendations for cost control & optimization.
Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets & forecasts.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare accurate & timely financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, & cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, & opportunities. Generate financial models & forecasts.
Provide insights & recommendations based on financial analysis to improve performance & profitability.
Cash Flow Management:<\/em><\/strong>
Monitor & manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Optimize working capital & minimize financial risks. Coordinate with stakeholders to improve cash flow efficiency.
Financial Controls & Compliance:
Establish & enforce financial policies & procedures. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, & standards.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets & prevent fraud.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits & provide necessary documentation.
Investment Analysis & Risk Management:
Evaluate investment opportunities & provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Assess & mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, interest rates, & market volatility.
Monitor & manage vendor contracts, negotiations, & pricing.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead & develop a high-performing finance team. Provide financial guidance & support to other departments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, & marketing, to achieve objectives.
Requirements:<\/strong>
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in internet & telecom or technology startup.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, & financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in financial software & tools, as well as advanced MS Excel skills. Attention to detail & accuracy.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, & financial modeling. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders. Knowledge of regulations & compliance.
Experience with startup environments & the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
