WWF<br>Network has moved to the development and implementation of nine (09) Practices with Global<br>Goals to be achieved.<br>For our Country Programme Office in Cameroon, we are looking for a dynamic and committed<br>Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation &amp; Learning (PMEL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp;E) Advisor, WWF CCPO<br>Location: Yaound\u00e9<br>Duration: Seven (07) months<br>Major Functions:<br>Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp;E) Advisor, the<br>Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation &amp; Learning (PMEL) Intern will contribute to the<br>development of and enhancing tools, techniques, guidelines and training materials for<br>programme development, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning to advance resultsbased programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Major Duties and Responsibilities:<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to providing substantive input and facilitate the development of high-quality<br>results-based consolidated PMEL systems for CCPO and its projects;<br>The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Cameroon seeks for a<br>Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation &amp; Learning (PMEL) Intern<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to undertaking analytical and evaluative functions in facilitating intra-projects<br>coordination of reporting and monitoring format, including developing unified reporting<br>formats and frequency of reporting and distribution timelines (tracking and trends in<br>overall programme PMEL performance);<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to identifying and providing Terms of Reference for internal and external<br>evaluators to carry out technical and professionally-specific evaluations as required by<br>international standards of probity and good practice;<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to field projects assistance to local communities in identifying and prioritizing<br>livelihood strategies as well as elaborate and implement criteria\/protocol for monitoring<br>and evaluating effective community and institutional involvement in integrated<br>conservation and development activities in project sites in alignment to expectations of<br>results of the WWF global PMEL system;<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to reviewing the quality of existing social and economic data in the project<br>area, the methods of collecting it and the degree to which it will provide good baseline<br>statistics for impact evaluation;<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to developing a plan for project-related capacity-building on PMEL and<br>reporting, organize and undertake training with stakeholders, including primary<br>stakeholders, in PMEL skills, including participatory aspects;<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to carrying out monitoring visits and consultation\/s on the review of progress<br>on a sixth monthly periodic basis as well as to provide guidance to ensure PMEL plans<br>are consistent with the WWF guidelines and policies;<br>\uf0b7 Contribute to assisting with the development and\/or reformulation of project proposals of<br>existing projects;<br>\uf0b7 In collaboration with the M&amp;E Advisor, review, produce and disseminate technical<br>documents for WWF-CCPO and its projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Profile:<br>Required Qualifications:<br>\uf0b7 Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree (BsC) in Social Sciences or development or conservation<br>related subject, or equivalent standard of education.<br>Required Skills and Competencies:<br>\uf0b7 Strong analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data;<br>\uf0b7 Conscientious, with an excellent sense of judgment;<br>\uf0b7 Excellent communication and team-building qualities;<br>\uf0b7 Regional and cultural knowledge and sensitivity;<br>\uf0b7 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;<br>\uf0b7 Demonstrated strong understanding of cultural and social environment in the region, and<br>be able to live and work successfully in those environments;<br>\uf0b7 Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people;<br>\uf0b7 Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with other project personnel;<br>\uf0b7 Computer literate and strong organizational skills.<br>Values &amp;
