Job Purpose : Ensure the stable operation of the computer networks. This includes planning, developing,
installing, configuring, securing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software,
and communication links. The incumbent will also be in charge of analyze and resolve end users network
hardware and software computer issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training
where required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Profile<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities And Duties Include
\uf0fc Perform network design, capacity planning and
implementation
\uf0fc Install, configure, and maintain network cabling
and other networking equipment such as routers,
hubs, switches ;
\uf0fc Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance,
and troubleshooting of network connected enduser hardware, software, and peripheral devices
\uf0fc Maintain network connectivity of all computer
workstations ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0fc Provide second level technical support to users
concerning network operations ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are presently in search of a IT
professional, with sound proven
experience in running networks on
specific network operating systems
and rounded understanding of how
to connect devices to form a fast and
efficient network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0fc Diagnose problems with network equipment and
performs equipment repair or upgrades when
appropriate ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0fc Collaborate with the IS security manager to manage
security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus, and
intrusion detection systems ;
\uf0fc Develop and monitor policies for the use of network
resources.
\uf0fc Implement and maintain network users\/permissions ;
\uf0fc Evaluate and recommend security improvements and
system upgrades ;
\uf0fc Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up
at the network layer ;
\uf0fc Create technical support documentation for network
systems ;
\uf0fc Conduct research on network products, services,
protocols, and standards in support of network
procurement and development efforts ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
