It provides services in Research,<br>Evaluation &amp; Learning; Data, Analytics &amp; Information Systems; and Social &amp; Behavior Change<br>Strategies. Its practice areas include Health and Health Systems, Nutrition and Food Security, and<br>Agriculture and Livelihoods. We have a USAID-funded project office in Niamey, Niger, and a Data<br>Unit satellite office in Parakou, Benin (www.evihdaf.com).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We are looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to fill positions of Research Officer. They<br>will have wide-ranging responsibilities, providing support to existing projects, including with the<br>regard to study design and implementation, quantitative and qualitative data collection and<br>analysis, publications (Briefs, Working Papers, peer-reviewed articles) and dissemination. They will<br>also support proposal development to attract new projects. The positions require flexibility, strong<br>organizational skills, willingness to work under pressure, and motivation to invest in the growth<br>and development of EVIHDAF. The positions are based in our office in Yaound\u00e9, Cameroon.<br>Preferred Skills\/Prerequisites<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>MPH or related degree;<\/li><li>At least three years\u2019 experience in research in key areas including family planning and<br>reproductive health (FP\/RH), maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH), adolescent and<br>youth sexual and reproductive health (AYSRH), malaria and infectious diseases, and nutrition;<\/li><li>Fluency in English and strong writing and presentation skills in English;<\/li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, \u2026)<\/li><li>Ability to work under pressure, to be proactive and to make informed decisions;<\/li><li>Fluency in French will be an added value;<\/li><li>Publications in peer-reviewed journals and\/or presentations at conferences will be an asset;<\/li><li>Familiarity with qualitative and\/or quantitative data analysis software packages (SPSS, STATA,<br>Epi-Info, NVivo, Atlas.Ti, \u2026) will be an added value.<\/li><li>Familiarity with social media communications will be an added value.<br>Interested candidates are invited to submit their application online to the address<br>admin@evihdaf.com with the subject line \u2018\u2019Research Officer\u201d.
