{"id":40009,"date":"2023-04-05T17:01:40","date_gmt":"2023-04-05T15:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/?post_type=emplois&#038;p=40009"},"modified":"2023-04-05T17:01:42","modified_gmt":"2023-04-05T15:01:42","slug":"head-of-sales-and-operations","status":"publish","type":"emplois","link":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/recrutements-emplois-stages\/2023\/head-of-sales-and-operations\/","title":{"rendered":"Head of Sales and Operations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>aYo Cameroon<br>Job Title:<br>Location:<br>Reporting To:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partnership Manager<br>Douala, Cameroon<br>Head of Sales and Operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will have to:<br>Ensure the achievement of sales by building, identifying and acquiring new partnerships for our<br>sales distribution channel that can be replicated across Cameroon in order to expand our aYo<br>Cameroon reach and sales.<br>You will be expected to provide professional support, advice, guidance for the partnership and<br>strategic insight to help both parties to achieve their primary goals though their partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be responsible for:<br>\u2022 Analyze the market in order to identify distribution partnerships with potential in support of<br>aYo\u2019s strategy<br>\u2022 Develop objectives and agreed action plan to achieve desired outcomes<br>\u2022 Negotiate fees, set up and manage strategic distribution partners<br>\u2022 Propose targeted commercial and marketing actions to boost the production of partners<br>\u2022 Propose and implement innovative approaches to insurance distribution<br>\u2022 Develop and manage of relationships with contracted Partners ensuring a high level of<br>performance against set targets<br>\u2022 Train on aYo\u2019s products and processes and supervise the agents provided by the partners<br>\u2022 Overseeing communication between each entity and ensure that each business understands<br>the other&rsquo;s needs, goals and expectations.<br>\u2022 Establish short- and long-term goals, ensuring alignment and identifying any potential<br>differences<br>\u2022 Ensure that partnerships clearly understand their targets and meet or exceed agreed sales,<br>revenue, and leads targets<br>\u2022 Monitor the quality of interactions with existing and prospective clients, and provide training<br>where necessary to ensure company standards are being maintained<br>\u2022 Work closely with the product, customer success, and technology teams to maximize activation<br>rates<br>\u2022 Review customer persistency, revenue and claims performances from business produced by<br>contracted partners to ensure company objectives are achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some work you will need to do:<br>\u2022 Monitoring of objectives: follow-up of new sales, follow-up of renewals, implementation of<br>corrective actions to ensure objectives are achieved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparation of various reports on the activity and turnover of the networks<br>Execution of the sales action plan set up for each partner<br>Periodic visits to partners<br>Competitive intelligence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need:<br>\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in relevant field of study<br>\u2022 Minimum 2 years sales experience in financial services, banking, micro-insurance, Telco<br>industry<br>\u2022 Experience in sales leadership roles (financial services, banking, insurance, Telco industry will<br>be advantageous)<br>\u2022 Familiarity with the company&rsquo;s industry or market<br>\u2022 Driver\u2019s licence and own car would be advantageous<br>\u2022 Computer literate<br>\u2022 Ability to speak and write fluently in French &amp; English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to show that you have:<br>\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing (English language skills would be<br>advantageous)<br>\u2022 Ability to drive sales and achieve objectives through 3rd party arrangements<br>\u2022 Business acumen and financial literacy<br>\u2022 Negotiating skills related to technical solutions, financing, terms &amp; conditions guarantees, risk<br>allocation, incentives, etc.<br>\u2022 Planning &amp; Organizational skills.<br>\u2022 Problem solving skills.<br>\u2022 Presentation skills.<br>\u2022 Resourcefulness, ability to multi-task and handle pressure<br>\u2022 Strong sales profile, high energy levels and a sense of urgency, driven to succeed<br>In addition, you will need to be able to work in a regularly changing environment, be prepared<br>to take on and let go of tasks and functions to meet changing company requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This job description represents a summary of the typical functions of this job and not an exhaustive<br>or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
