POSITION: RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS COMMERCIAL BANKING REPORTING LINE: COMMERCIAL BANKING HEAD
DEPARTEMENT : COMMERCIAL BANKING ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
\u25aa Acquisition and management of existing Commercial client relationships consistent with the Bank\u2019s strategy in- order to achieve desired quality of Business growth
\u25aa Management of own portfolio of customers ensuring that they receive the appropriate level of service and advice to meet their specific needs
\u25aa Maintain, acquire and reactivate customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix.
\u25aa Sourcing for and monitoring of customer\u2019s tenured investment \/ facilities.
\u25aa Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing credits facilities
\u25aa Enhance client retention by providing a one-stop point of contact for all the client\u2019s needs and requirements while providing world class customer service
\u25aa Ensure effective relationship building and management with new and existing customers.
\u25aa Optimally exploit new and existing opportunities in the market.
\u25aa Plan and implement marketing strategies to boost profit
\u25aa All other assigned tasks
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
\u25aa Achieve the approved Commercial Banking PBT target for the Bank
\u25aa 100 % attainment of annual targets (Deposits, Risk Assets, fees & commission, client conversions)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25aa Achievement of set financial targets.
\u25aa Customer Service delivery \u2013 customer service rating. \u25aa Performance of retail teams.
\u25aa Achievement of Deposit targets\/Trade volumes.
\u25aa Deposit targets realization.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
\u2022 Basic knowledge of Accounting, Finance and Economics.
\u2022 Banking operations, policies and procedures.
\u2022 Good knowledge of the Bank\u2019s products and services.
\u2022 Business development and acquisition
\u2022 Marketing, Selling and Cross Selling
\u2022 Knowledge of current business trends and CBN Regulatory
laws.
SKILLS REQUIRED
\u2022 Ability to evaluate needs of customers and determine what products or services would best serve those needs
\u2022 Good interpersonal skills
\u2022 Excellent Communications skills (written and oral)
\u2022 Marketing and Selling skills
\u2022 Leadership and negotiation skills
\u2022 Good Relationship management skills
\u2022 Confident and must possess excellent networking skills.
QUALIFICATION
\u2022 Minimum Educational level- First degree in any discipline. EXPERIENCE
\u2022 Minimum experience- 5- 10 years\u2019 cognate experience, 5 of which must have been in a marketing arm of a branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
