JOB DESCRIPTION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The role of the Procurement Coordinator position is to assist the logistics Manager to coordinate Procurement and related activities in Cameroon. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of operational logistics for the emergency operations conducted and provides gap filing and capacity building support to the Area Offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Generic responsibilities <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Implement NRC\u2019s systems and procedures at country and area offices. <\/li>
  2. Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements.<\/li>
  3. Ensure proper filing of all support documents in office 365.<\/li>
  4. Support Logistics managers with procedures and training of support team in the field<\/li>
  5. Take the lead with framework agreement and follow up on its implementation<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Specific responsibilities <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These responsibilities are not exhaustive and shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus, and type of programme intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Review procurement documents for conformity in Agresso and ensure procurement procedures are managed for National Tenders<\/li>
    2. Coordinate technical training sessions for Area Officers and Logistics team in accordance with NRC policies.<\/li>
    3. Responsible for archiving in office 365 according to NRC standards and policies in effect in the Country Program<\/li>
    4.  Verify, Analyze, and compile logistic reports of the different offices according to the reporting schedule (purchase tracking report, contract follow-up, pricelist update, vendor database procurement plan follow-up).<\/li>
    5. Participation in procurement analysis committees, supplier identification and evaluation, inventory, specific logistical activities in the field offices.<\/li>
    6. In charge of tracking and bills of Terra Mar, orange, rent, etc.<\/li>
    7. Manage suppliers and their registration in Agresso.<\/li>
    8. Supports the Logistics Manager in preparing teams for internal and external audits in the Country.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      QUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Professional competencies <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      These are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Generic professional competencies: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Experience from working as a Procurement Coordinator or \u00e9quivalent in a humanitarian\/recovery context<\/li>
      • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts<\/li>
      • Documented results related to the position\u2019s responsibilities<\/li>
      • Knowledge about own leadership skills\/profile <\/li>
      • Holder of an advanced degree in the field of logistics would be a plus.<\/li>
      • At least five years\u2019 progressive experience in INGO.<\/li>
      • Experience working with donors like NMFA\/NORAD, GFFO, ECHO, USAID, UNHCR, SIDA will be a strong advantage.<\/li>
      • Should be very bilingual, speaking and writing English and French.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
