High HIV prevalence is associated with high-risk sexual behaviours such as inconsistent use of condoms and lubricants and a high rate of sexually transmitted infections (STI). Stigma and discrimination have further marginalized key populations limiting their access to life-saving services such as anti-retroviral therapy (ART) and reducing the country\u2019s ability to control the HIV epidemic\n\nThe national response is led by the National AIDS Control Committee (NACC), which coordinates implementation of the National HIV\/AIDS Strategic Plan 2021-2023. This policy aims to reduce HIV and STI-related morbidity and mortality and alleviate its socioeconomic impact on the development of Cameroon. Among strategic approaches, the plan stresses improved access to prevention, care and treatment for key populations.\n\nThe USAID-funded Community HIV\/AIDS Investments for Longer and healthier Lives (CHILL) has the following objectives: (1) HIV testing for Key and Priority populations (KPs &amp; PP); (2) ART uptake for KPs and PPs by ensuring that those who test positive are actively linked to treatment as soon as possible; and (3) improving retention in treatment through improved linkages between facility and community-based services, and reinforced community-based support for adherence and client follow-up.\nCare and Health Program (CHP) will be the CHILL prime and will lead the program in partnership with fifteen local community-based organizations (CBO). The consortium is collaborating with the Ministry of Public Health (MOH), NACC and other stakeholders to build the capacity of the national, regional and community response.\nThese efforts will expand service coverage in five focus regions and generate data for evidence-based programming through the implementation of evidence-based prevention, care and treatment services to key and priority populations in Cameroon.\n\nIn the context of this project, CHP is recruiting a Janitor\/Receptionist with the following criteria:\n\n\nCONTRACT PERIOD: 5 years, beginning from January 2st 2023\n\nPLACE: Yaound\u00e9 Coordination (1),\n\nCONTRACT TYPE: Indeterminate subject to performance and availability of funding\n\nTRIAL PERIOD: 3 Months Renewable after evaluation.\n\nWith the supervision of the Administrative Assistant of the project, the Janitor\/Receptionist will be a member of the CHILL team at the Yaound\u00e9 sites.\n\nENUMERATION OF TASKS\n\n\u2022    Checking the cleanliness of the premises\n\u2022    Cleaning of administrative, technical or specialized premises\n\u2022    Sorting and disposal of common waste\n\u2022    Protection of floorcoverings by emulsion application\n\u2022    Washroom cleaning\n\u2022    Cleaning glass surfaces.\n\u2022    Kitchen cleaning\n\u2022    Cleanliness in kitchen after meeting\n\u2022    Meeting Restoration Preparation\n\u2022    Maintenance equipment and breakfast management\n\nQualifications et evaluations Exigences\n\nEXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years of concierge experience is required.\nBUSINESS KNOWLEDGE: Must be familiar with appropriate cleaning methods and be able to properly use a full range of cleaning equipment and products depending on the area to be cleaned. This can be tested.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: a primary or secondary school diploma is required.\nLANGUAGE: Basic knowledge: speaking\/reading\/understanding English is required. This can be tested.\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to understand complex instructions to clean multiple surfaces in accordance with current US federal government standards. The ability to lift moderately heavy objects is required.
