JOB PURPOSE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Receiving cash for deposit into customer accounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Paying cash against checks debit customer accounts,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Buying and selling foreign monies, Travelers checks<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Posting of financial data into the Flexcube system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Backing up\/Witness for Teller in vault operations (Joint custody)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Effect Rapid Transfer\/Western Union Operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n
KEY RESPONSABILITIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Receive cash for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Deposit to customers accounts (current accounts and savings accounts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Sales of Travelers checks<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Sale of Foreign currency<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Liquidation of Prepaid by Bank staff<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Pay cash against:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Debit to customers accounts (current accounts and savings accounts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Payment orders properly signed by authorized signatories<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Checks purchase\/Travelers checks\/Manager checks upon proper approvals<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 FCY notes purchase<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Personal check purchased<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Post financial data into the FLEX through terminal\/Screens<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Provide quick, courteous and error free service to customers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Ensure strict adherence to Bank and OPM\/requirements relating to Cash & Teller Area<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Maintain strict control over cash, foreign monies, travelers checks and valuables under teller\u2019s custody<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Maintain correct records of transactions volumes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Archive all media on daily basis<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Maintain proper records of the vital few quality tracking<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Update Cash& teller DCFC<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Always ensure controls are applied as per written procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Ensure forms relating to FCY transactions are filled at the time of processing and timely submitted to various Government entities or Central Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Receive customers for Rapid Transfer\/Western Union and proceed with their transactions as per related written procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Perform any other function as and when assigned by the Unit Head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
