Job Role Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Pipeline Right of Way (ROW) Civil Engineer reports to the ETS Maintenance Superintendent. This assignment relates to field supervision of all maintenance activities on the ROW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key responsibilities will include:
\u2022    managing projects; 
\u2022    pipeline maintenance; 
\u2022    design and implementation of ROW erosion repairs; 
\u2022    design and construction of simple earth roads; 
\u2022    review of third party engineering structure design for crossing the pipeline; 
\u2022    ROW trees cutting supervision.
 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expected Level of Proficiency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ideal candidate profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational:<\/strong> Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent discipline <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional Experience and Knowledge required:<\/strong>
\u2022    A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in the oil and gas or equivalent industry 
\u2022    Competence in Civil engineering works (Education and experience)
\u2022    Competence in pipeline maintenance (Experience)
\u2022    Competence in designing and implementing erosion repairs (Experience)
\u2022    Competence in designing and constructing simple earth roads (Experience)
\u2022    Competence in GPS navigation (Experience)
\u2022    Competence in project management, budget and cost control
\u2022    Management of Change (MOC) control from initiation to completion, documents and training included
\u2022    Management of Projects from Design Basis Memorandum to completion, schedule and budget control
\u2022    Control of the maintenance of equipment in his domain of competencies on SAP data base.
\u2022    Periodic reports on MOCs, projects and maintenance progress
\u2022    Experience in Safety, Health, Equipment integrity and Environment management systems
\u2022    Experience in contractor monitoring and supervision  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills and attributes required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022    Good communication and teamwork skills;
\u2022    Fluency in oral and written English (ability to prepare written reports in English is essential)
\u2022    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance 
\u2022    Knowledge of AUTOCAD software  
\u2022    Knowledge of Projects and Work Management Systems  
\u2022    Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
\u2022    Excellent customer relations
\u2022    Ability to effectively work and timely deliver expected results with no supervision
\u2022    Knowledge of the COTCO pipeline ROW accesses is an added advantage
