\u27a2 ONE (01) REGIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGER (Ref. RL0122) Position based in Douala covering Cameroon & Gabon and supporting other
countries (Congo, Chad, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your main missions will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Work with Customer Service, Customer Development Team, Supply Network Planning, Logistics Service Providers and Lead Logistics Provider to ensure orders for customers and replenishment are fulfilled timely, achieving the targeted performance in terms of quality, quantity, and cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Provide services based on customer needs and efficient cost distribution, import, export, and transporta- tion of finished products – partnering closely with the related local\/regional commercial operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Supervise the daily activities Logistics Service Providers and Lead Logistics Provider providing transportation services, ensuring on time arrival and delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Ensure timing and accurate execution of Co-Packing & Co-Manufacturing logistics activities performed in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Provide input for the budget and performance targets, review the monthly indicators to identify areas of improvement, work with the COE, Division CS&L, and Logistics Service Providers for identification and im- plementation of continuous improvement\/sharing standard methodology projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Lead and develop people within the organization
\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned.
\u2022 Comply with all policies and standards.
Profile :
\u2022 BS in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration
\u2022 Proven working experience of 5 years as a Logistics Manager
\u2022 Record of successful distribution and logistics management
\u2022 Proficient in standard logistics software
\u2022 Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
\u2022 Strong management background with extensive experience in Logistics and transport management
\u2022 Management of a team of resources throughout the organization in country and abroad.
\u2022 Demonstrate organizational management, problem solving, skilled influencing and negotiation techniques
\u2022 Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
\u2022 May speak fluently English and French
\u2022 May be required to effect local and international travels for deals with existing and potential clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This requires the possession of a valid state driver\u2019s license and valid passport.
