Job Purpose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key Accountabilities\/Result Area
A Receptionist provides reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.
As Receptionist, you will provide reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required. A Receptionist contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
\uf0b7 Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in\/out, and
complete audit procedures, as required
\uf0b7 Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept
fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
\uf0b7 Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
\uf0b7 Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night
Team’s training and development efforts
\uf0b7 Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages,
promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily
duties
\uf0b7 Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel
services and facilities
\uf0b7 Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies,
credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
\uf0b7 Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
\uf0b7 Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of
house equipment and property management systems
\uf0b7 Follow company brand standards
\uf0b7 Assist other departments, as necessary<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experiences \/ Competence & Requirements:
Receptionists serving *** brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\uf0b7 Previous experience in a customer-focused industry
\uf0b7 Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Tourism
\uf0b7 Positive attitude and good communication skills
\uf0b7 Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
\uf0b7 Excellent grooming standards
\uf0b7 Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
\uf0b7 Competent level of IT proficiency
\uf0b7 Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience within hospitality
\uf0b7 Fluent in English and French (Speak\/Read\/Understand<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Minimum 30 years old – Maximum 35 years old
