SITE ACCOUNTANT<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure proper, accurate, timely and relevant financial records are maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure complete transaction processing on the Accounting Software on a Real-time basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintain adequate monitoring, filling and control over all source documents relating to the Site operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Be conversant with the cash machines (Veezi, Tills) operations and reports to ensure effective monitoring of the completeness and accuracy of transactions at the Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Monitor and report the Site\u2019s Revenue receipts (Daily Sales Analysis), cost of sales and expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Monitor and manage all cash receipts and carry out daily bank lodgments before 11am each working day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
C Coordinate and monitor payroll issues, as it affects your Site personnel including surcharges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Monitor to ensure efficient Inventory Management for the Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of all financially related Reports emanating and\/or related to your Site (Stock Report, Close-Out, etc).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7\u00b7 Maintain and manage the Fixed Assets Register for the Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Carry out reconciliations between the Cost of sales reported by the Stock Controller and the actual consumptions reflected in the Financial Report based on the Site\u2019s Opening Inventory, Purchases and Closing Stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Efficient management of the Site\u2019s Imprest, Change Float and expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 = Efficient Treasury Management for the Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Monitor to ensure the efficient management of the Site\u2019s Payables and Receivables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7\u00b7 Ensure proper, accurate, timely and relevant financial records are maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Drive Revenue & Cost Efficiency; and ensure processes & procedures are followed in the day to day operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure that there are duly authorized documentary approvals for all payments and every data that is to be entered into the Site\u2019s Account data base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 To ensure and cultivate cordial relationship with customers that will enhance business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Mentor and develop subordinates, as may be posted to you, on Cinema accounts management, processes and procedures of the company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cultivate and maintain good inter-personal relationship with colleagues within and outside the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure the financial information asset of the company is well protected, preserved with confidentiality and available to the right people at the right format and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ensure accurate and organized filing system for all documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ensure that transparency, honesty and accountability are embedded in own area of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Coordinate all aspects of Health and Safety and Fire Safety in the area of responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Participate in the Site\u2019s weekly communication and review meetings with colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Other duties as may be assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Knowledgeable in IFRS,ISA etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
M.Sc \/ B.Sc \/ BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics with a Professional Certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good knowledge of accounting systems (Quick Books, SAGE, Microsoft Excel, ERPnext, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong knowledge of internal control principles, operational risk evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ability to work in a rapidly evolving work environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong presentation skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Financial reporting skills <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must be thorough detailed and organized<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must possess the ability to multitask<\/p>\n\n\n\n
