BASSAGAL CONSULTING AFRICA is recruiting for one of its clients of the Telecommunications
sector:
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your main missions will be :
\u2022 Clearly define project objectives, prepare and defend project budgets.
\u2022 Develop and manage project plans and implementation schedules using MS Project and other suitable Project Management software.
\u2022 Manage project implementation to completion and perform regular quality inspections during and
after project completion, throughout the service life.
\u2022 Effectively setup and empower project teams, manage internal operations and external contractors
pertinent to project execution.
\u2022 Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on every project and furnish project reports for all
customers, stakeholders and archive internally for future references and continuity.
\u2022 Maintain rapport with Finance team and ensure proper invoicing on milestone.
\u2022 Actively support sales, marketing and admin with preparation of bid documents.
\u2022 Provide all support necessary for contract negotiations with suppliers.
\u2022 Ensure accurate specs for equipment required per project are furnished to the Logistics unit and
assist through with procurement and payment of supplier and contractor invoices.
\u2022 Regularly perform quality inspections and practice timely escalation on issues during project execution.
Profile :
\u2022 Should be PMP certified with B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering \/ Telecom\/IT
\u2022 Strong Project management background with extensive experience in Telecommunications
and Satcom
\u2022 Experience of 3-5 years in relation with industry work
\u2022 Experience as a project manager in a Telecom environment is essential.
\u2022 Satellite and\/or wireless network experience advantageous.
\u2022 Worked in a project management framework (PMI, PRINCE2).
\u2022 Management of a team of resources throughout the organization in country and abroad.
\u2022 Demonstrate organizational management, problem solving, skilled influencing and
negotiation techniques<\/p>\n\n\n\n
