Job purpose of internal control officers at uba cameroon : <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ensure compliance of daily business office operations with the
Bank\u2019s policies and external regulatory and statutory compliance legislation in
force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Accountabilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Ensure strict adherence to statutory policies, procedures and regulatory compliance on work processes and daily operations;
\uf0b7 Assist business offices on compliance and regulatory issues and provide counselling whenever it is required;
\uf0b7 Improve control and compliance awareness culture in the business offices;
\uf0b7 Daily call-over of transactions;
\uf0b7 Ensure the KYC compliant environment is maintained;
\uf0b7 Ensure integrity in Business Office transactions;
\uf0b7 Monitor and ensure that open items in the GL accounts are current and
reflect the true nature of the data recorded therein;
\uf0b7 Ensure prompt and qualitative rendition of relevant returns and reports as
may be required;
\uf0b7 Ensure all escalated audit exceptions open in the business office are
properly closed;
\uf0b7 Ensure prompt and qualitative rendition of relevant Control and Compliance reports;
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualification required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum education level \u2013 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Audit and Control, Accounting and
Finance, Banking and Finance or any other relevant discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates (External only) must have at least 3 years\u2019 seniority in the Banking
Industry. Preferred candidates would ideally have a Financial, Accounting,
Audit or Internal Control background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
