Its aim is to improve the experience of teams, guests, fans, and spectators by delivering successfully across all operational areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will begin from January 9 to February 6, 2022, with six stadiums set to host the games across five cities in Cameroon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This role is a&nbsp;<strong>temporary contract<\/strong>&nbsp;running until end of February 2022 and will be based in Yaound\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist the development of Accommodation Operating Plans, policies, and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Propose and manage day to day process of confirming allocation and accommodation details of all CAF constituent groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage all hotel inventories across all client groups, prior to event and on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Secure and finalize the Accommodation Allotment Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Establish close relationships and contracts with hotels, for all different user groups for the tournament period; ensuring that each user group receives the requested level of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Negotiate with suppliers effectively and analyze business requirements to get the best quality and cost optimized decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supervise the reservation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Organize F&amp;B, concierge, room drops, security &amp; hospitality desks in each hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Source and contract additional hotels, as required.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Overall financial management and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop a contingency plan for alternative accommodation areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Liaise with other departments within the organization\/Host Country to meet all event participants\u2019 expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage the portfolio of hotel offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements (profile):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration or Management, or related fields.<\/li><li>At least 5-years\u2019 experience in Mega Events or Sports.<\/li><li>Fluent in English &amp;
