The intern will assist the communications team in improving the Foundation\u2019s communication through traditional media, social media, and email. Interns will be expected to work Full time in Yaound\u00e9 for a period of 3 months renewable once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Primary responsibilities will include<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual communications strategy and communications plan.<\/li><li>Maintaining and updating the Foundation\u2019s Social Media Pages.<\/li><li>Assisting in &nbsp;Creating graphics and other accessories for social media promotion;<\/li><li>Updating&nbsp; the database of media and other contacts to ensure they are accurate, and up to date;<\/li><li>Assisting with the production and publication of videos;<\/li><li>Contributing ideas to develop new channels for the Foundation\u2019s communications;<\/li><li>Assisting in the development of&nbsp; a monthly reporting system on the Foundations communication activities<\/li><li>Generating online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action.<\/li><li>Other general responsibilities may be reasonably requested over time.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Must hold at least a Bachelor\u2019s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or any related field<\/li><li>Previous internship\/ work experience in a communication field<\/li><li>Proficient with online communications.<\/li><li>Flexible, open, and dependable<\/li><li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li><li>Excellent&nbsp;verbal&nbsp;and&nbsp;written&nbsp;communication&nbsp;skills.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
