Position<\/u><\/strong>:  Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Report to: IDF Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated Development Foundation<\/strong> (IDF Bamenda) is seeking the service of a qualified, experienced and highly motivated Accountant. The position will be based in Bamenda<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities of the accountant:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Maintaining and reviewing financial records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Preparing budgets regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accountant Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         A degree in accounting or similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Proficiency in management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Administration skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Sound interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required\/Desired Foreign Language<\/strong>: Fluency in French, Professional Proficiency in English required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
