Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will execute engineering duties in designing, developing, testing and
supervising the development and commissioning of electrical equipment, components, and
systems for the cement grinding plant. Responsible for electrifying the plant and offices with
the best lighting systems for the different areas.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not Exhaustive)
\u2022 Design the layout of electric power and distribution lines for the cement plant that are
energy saving;
\u2022 Participate in the commissioning process to ensure electrical compliance of the plant
and effective functioning of plant equipment;
\u2022 Supervise all phases of electrical works within the construction site and test all
equipment and systems upon completion of construction process;
\u2022 Estimate quantities and cost of electrical material and equipment needed for the plant;
\u2022 Submit reports, inspection requests, cost estimates, and all applicable monitoring reports
on a regular basis or as required;
\u2022 Constantly monitor and troubleshoot all electric faults within the plant or requesting
repair service;
\u2022 Maintain equipment functionality by following manufacturer’s instructions and
established procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Skills
\u2022 Specialist knowledge of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
\u2022 A good operational knowledge of production plants;
\u2022 Understand safety measures in a construction plant;
\u2022 Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it;
\u2022 Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative
solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
\u2022 Good communication skills, an outstanding aptitude to work in a team;
\u2022 Fluent in spoken and written English and German and a working knowledge in French;
\u2022 Very good Microsoft Office skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qualification
\u2022 A Bachelor\u2019s Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering. A master\u2019s degree is a
plus.
Experience
\u2022 At least 7 \u2013 10 years\u2019 experience of practice in electrical engineering and control.
