Position: PHP Developer
Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer Location: Douala<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tranzak Cameroon is a FinTech start-up, providing top-notch solutions to individuals, small businesses and merchants.
Job Purpose: We are looking for talented, innovative, and enthusiastic developers driven to build well-
designed products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Participate in the entire application life cycle, focusing on coding and debugging
\u2022 Managing hosting environments
\u2022 Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
\u2022 Write clean code to develop functional web applications
\u2022 Building and maintaining web applications
\u2022 Keeping on top of new technologies
Education, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
\u2022 Minimum BSC in Computer Science or related field
\u2022 Fluent in PHP development and architecture
\u2022 Familiar with at least one of the common PHP frameworks like, Laravel, CI, Yii, etc
\u2022 Comfortable with Linux environment and the command line tool
\u2022 Advanced knowledge of OOP, MVC, and commonly used design patterns
\u2022 knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
\u2022 Familiarity with messaging system like RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus
\u2022 Experience with Node.js and NoSQL databases is a plus
\u2022 Fluency with reading and writing in English
\u2022 Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
\u2022 Experience working in an Agile\/Scrum development process is a plus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
