Job Summary<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Provide ongoing mechanical engineering support on maintenance, repair and service of mechanical equipment, instruments and structures used within the plant to ensure equipment performance, reliability, HSE and plant optimisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Maintain records on equipment histories and costs, coordinates with Senior Engineers for needed changes toward increasing reliability;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Analyse, record, troubleshoots equipment problems, and proffer procedure recommendations to Senior Engineers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Diagnose root cause and specify method of repair for plant equipment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Document project and technical work by setting up necessary files and preparing appropriate records and reports; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Provide guidance to the technicians in the execution of maintenance works;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Engineers from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Education and Work Experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 A Bachelor Engineering or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Two to four (4) years\u2019 work experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Skills and Competencies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Very good organisational skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Very good analytical and problem-solving skills; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Very good oral and written communication skill;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
