Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is presently in search of a Branch Manager for one of its Branches in Cameroon.

Job Purpose: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers while enhancing branch
accountability and performance

Reporting Line: Head, Consumer Retail Banking
Principal Responsibilities (Key tasks)
\uf0a7 Manages and supervises branch employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership
\uf0a7 Create strategies to grow business opportunities within the branch.
\uf0a7 Build new customer relationships
\uf0a7 Retain existing customers.
\uf0a7 Resolve customer issues.
\uf0a7 Ensure customers\u2019 financial needs are met.
\uf0a7 Develop and monitor branch sales strategies.
\uf0a7 Manage and monitor loan portfolio of branch clients.
\uf0a7 Identify and develop new sources of business.
\uf0a7 Recommend training, mentor and guide all branch staff to function efficiently and professionally.
\uf0a7 Prepare operational reports of his\/her branch for the head office as appropriate etc.

\uf0a7 Deposit Growth
\uf0a7 Revenue generation
\uf0a7 Customer acquisition
\uf0a7 Cross selling (Number of products per customer)
\uf0a7 Quality service
Competencies\/ Skills:
\uf0d8 Minimum of Master\u2019s degree or equivalent in marketing, finance, management, or other related disciplines
\uf0d8 Minimum 5 years exposure as Branch Manager in a bank
\uf0d8 Knowledge of banking internal processes and policies. A good understanding of the Financial Service Sector
\uf0d8 Fully bilingual: French and English, good persuasiveness and sales skills, good knowledge of Cameroon
financial markets and regulatory requirements, high level of loyalty, honesty and integrity etc
\uf0d8 Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
\uf0d8 Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
