Develop and implement various HR frameworks for the organization to generate value for the employee<\/li><li>To develop an increased organizational effectiveness through efficient management and alignment of Learning, Performance, Talent Management and organizational development for the achievement of a superior performance by the company.<\/li><li>Design, manage and maintain MTNC\u2019s organizational structure and job design function and develop OD solutions for organizational effectiveness.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Staff Leadership and Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff motivation is high to achieve high performance areas.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Ensure skill transfer for staff development, motivation and business continuity.<\/li><li>Guide and direct suppliers and third parties in achieving Opco objectives.<\/li><li>Identify staff training and development needs and implement necessary actions.<\/li><li>Manage team (including recruitment, on-boarding, attrition)<\/li><li>Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress and maintain motivation<\/li><li>Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives<\/li><li>Provide an advisory function on governance and best practices in client<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Governance: Adhoc, Strategic and Operational Meetings<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Set up \/ participate in adhoc and operational meetings.<\/li><li>Participate and provide inputs in tactical meetings<\/li><li>Report at process and functional level<\/li><li>Review and identify key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manage budgets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Sign-off \/ make decisions regarding operational changes<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Escalations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery.<\/li><li>Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee\/customer or cost impact if not resolved.<\/li><li>Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ensure effective execution of day to day operations and resolve operational issues.<\/li><li>Review team performance against agreed KPIs and their compliance to SLAs and reverse SLAs.<\/li><li>Review and monitor plan for continuous improvement through leading practice initiatives.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Reporting in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation<\/li><li>Report on an adhoc basis on specific management requirements as and when necessary<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operational Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Engagement &amp; Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Establish the internal communications strategy in conjunction with HR leadership team<\/li><li>Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders<\/li><li>Deliver presentations for organizational events and global communications<\/li><li>Manage the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation<\/li><li>Develop and implement long-term strategies and sponsor key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement, in line with Group Talent and Experience initiatives<\/li><li>Provide inputs and integrate change, culture and engagement principles across projects and initiatives of MTN, including transformation and post-merger integration projects<\/li><li>Support and provide guidance to the Opcos for the localization of the respective culture and engagement framework to ensure it reflects the respective socio, economic cultural nuances of the respective region<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Internal Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Responsible for communicating information internally throughout the organization. This includes the intranet, newsletter and events<\/li><li>Develop tools, channels and materials and establish the structures for internal communication through formal and informal mediums<\/li><li>Ensure all internal communications are clear, well timed, engaging, of a high quality and consistent with content and style<\/li><li>Provide communication support to the HR team in corporate programs, project implementations and change management initiatives<\/li><li>Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees<\/li><li>Develop and manage the intranet and homepage content<\/li><li>Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation<\/li><li>Liaise with the Group Engagement &amp; Communication team as well as the Corporate Communication team to ensure alignment and consistency in communication and messaging<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Engagement Culture and Value Proposition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Implement the EVP strategy defined by group aligned with business priorities and localize elements specific to the Opco<\/li><li>Implement the critical components (E.g. Vital Behaviors, reward strategies) that define the working culture in the organization<\/li><li>Adopt the overall Group Culture operating system infrastructure, cultural levers, organizational values and beliefs and localize elements specific to the Opco<\/li><li>Identify and develop drivers for employee engagement based on motivation factors that encourage employees to align themselves to the organization culture<\/li><li>Liaise with the Group Engagement Culture and value proposition team and seek assistance in implementation where necessary<\/li><li>Identify and develop Opco relevant channels that may be used to engage with employees<\/li><li>Implement &amp; manage the Employee Engagement strategy and model<\/li><li>Develop, implement &amp; manage employee engagement calendar and policy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Review business plans for MTNC and learning imperatives for the organization and develop Learning Strategy and Training Plans for staff development in line with organizational<\/li><li>objectives.<\/li><li>Take custody of the organization\u2019s Learning and Development Budget (Planning, Implementing and Management) and develop plans for managing staff learning and development efforts.<\/li><li>Manage planning and overall delivery of MTN Academy training programs and manage the operations of MTNC\u2019s internal training.<\/li><li>Collaborate with relevant stakeholder to ensure effective Sourcing and scheduling of required training for all divisions in the organization and maintain training related communication and reports with internal &amp; external customers.<\/li><li>Ensure the development and maintenance of appropriate system for measuring staff training and development and provide an effective system for individual development records.<\/li><li>Ensure a robust evaluation process is established within each operational business area in order to ensure effective training &amp; development.<\/li><li>Manage the delivery of corporate induction program (including expatriate staff) and deployment of expatriate staff.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Performance Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ensure knowledge, understanding and application of the performance management philosophy and process by all employees<\/li><li>Ensure, with HR Operations support the cascading and alignment of objectives between different units\/departments for strategic business goals achievement<\/li><li>Ensure timeliness of and compliance with the various steps of performance management cycle are effective, including poor performance management<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Talent &amp; Career Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Review trends in talent management and develop Talent Management Framework and Strategy in alignment with corporate strategy.<\/li><li>Develop policies and guidelines for talent management\/development and advise HR Operations on application of relevant policies for developing employees and nurturing talent within the organization.<\/li><li>Coordinate Talent &amp; Career Development programs, building alignment with the local and talent pool management schemes and lead the MTN Leadership Talent Management Program including Talent Accounting, Talent Demand and Supply Planning and Succession Readiness Management.<\/li><li>Put in place internal mobility programs and skill enhancement schemes including project participation, job rotation, secondment, etc, and create an effective system to monitor and track the performance of staff on these initiatives.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Organizational Design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Facilitate the design of solutions for an increased organization effectiveness in the various functions, aligned with business strategy<\/li><li>Ensure, as much as possible, compliance with Group Standards organizational guidelines and structure<\/li><li>Ensure the development and implementation of career paths and communicate appropriately to employees<\/li><li>Ensure the overall coherence and alignment of each of the above areas between them and with other HR functions (recruitment, recognition\u2026)<\/li><li>Ensure update of processes and procedures when and where required for continuous improvement purposes, and appropriate related communication<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manage Operational Change<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Conduct and analyze change readiness and business impact assessment of the OpCo<\/li><li>Liaise and engage with HR Operations for incorporating leading practices in change manag<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Specifications\/ Minimum &amp;
