As an part of the expansion of its activities in satisfying all its customers, Africa Eye Foundation, international NGO is recruiting 01 Programs Assistant for its hospital Magrabi ICO Cameroon Eye Institute (MICEI)located in Obak on the Okola road.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Marketing and development team in the preparation of various program
documents, such as work plans, budgets, reports and proposals on program
implementation.
Prepare reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes of the various programs.
Assists in the development of program evaluation tools, techniques, and methods.
Identify sources, and gather and compile data and information for the preparation of
documents, guidelines,and other material as required
Organize, compile and process information from the donor as well as from the entire
team, tracking of and reporting on mobilized resources.
Create and maintain files of correspondence/documents. Maintain both hardcopies and
electroniccopies of the office records and reference files on various subjects, ensuring
the safekeeping of confidential materials.
Plan, organize, execute and coordinate meetings, programs and events.
Provide administrative support to the programs team in the organization of events,
meetings and workshops, etc
Collaborating and working with other departments to ensure organizational growth and
over all patient satisfaction
Candidate Profile and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or equivalent plus additional specialized
training in administration,office management,business or related field
At least 2 years administrative experience; or any equivalent combination of experience
and training on project management
Ability to independently interpret program policies and procedures, plan, organize and
carry out work assignments
High level of integrity, interpersonal and managementskills with the ability to work with
teams at all levels
Good time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively, maintain
positive business relationships with other employees, donor agencies and with the public
Good computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft package
Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet needs.
