Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in one or more of the following areas: Forestry and Wildlife or other related specialization;
• Minimum six (06) months’ experience in biomonitoring field activities;
• Strong interest in nature conservation. Skills and competencies required
• Willingness and ability to work in a remote area with little supervision;
• Field person: enthusiastic about long missions in the forest under difficult and remote conditions;
• Excellent physical condition;
• Ability to adapt, flexibility;
• Demonstrated knowledge of GPS and SIG related software, Cybertracker/SMART and related tools;
• Good knowledge of camera trapping, wildlife observation and photo analysis
• Demonstrated statistical and data analysis skills (Excel, other relevant software);
• Ability to manage databases;
• Computer literacy, knowledge of data analysis software;
• Excellent writing skills.
