VALUE ASSURANCE OFFICER

 Job objective(s)

§  Ensure clarity and uniformity of the scope of works before the engagement of the bank, in order to secure the best price in procurements, projects and services, following the standardize material specifications and the updated brand manual.

Duties and Responsibilities

§  Review of tenders and quotations

§  Ensure clarity and uniformity of scope

§  To secure best price in procurements, projects and services

§  Review and standardize material specifications

§  Carry out market survey and peer price review

§  Carry out cost and contract terms negotiations and reporting

§  Preparation of cost estimates, construction budgets and bill of quantities

§  Monitor pre and post-contract management and administration of construction projets

§  Resolve contractual conflicts/disputes

CHALLENGES

§  Difficulty in disseminating information

§  Meeting internal customers’ expectations and demands

§  Fluctuations in prices of goods, products and services

PLANNING: Macro: one year;  Micro: daily

 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

§  Cost savings in enterprise procurement and projects

§  TAT in cost review and negotiations

§  Ensure quality standard of vendor supply of material and services

§  Streamline bank’s vendors and vendor performance assessment and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum education level – civil works engineer

Experience
Minimum experience – 03 – 05 years relevant in studies of building projects (calculation of structures, quotes and measurements, etc…)
